Selah and her dad making history!

Yosemite National Park,California is said to have beautiful waterfalls and it also has mind blowing views where you can see the whole park.

Selah Schneiter, a 10 year old girl, along with her dad, climbed El Capitan. It took them five days to get to the top.

Selah and her dad climbed El Capitan in California making her the first 10 year old girl to climb granite rock face.

My name is Christopher Tupou and I would like to apply to become an important
Journalist around the world.

The reason why I want to apply for this job is because I really good at studying
people and animals.Also I have keen eyes that are easy to track animals from
wherever they go.

I would be perfect for this because all of my experience learning about animals and
people and learning how to track living organisms I hope this letter would let me get

A Nude food letter to parents!

Dear parents and caregivers,

We’re writing to inform of a chance in food policy at St Patrick's. From the beginning of
term 3 only nutritious, unpackaged food will be allowed at school.

Throughout the year we have noticed an increase in unhealthy packaged food items.
These foods are high in sugar, fat, salt and other chemicals which leads to child obesity,
diabetes, heart attacks and strokes.

We have also noticed a large amount of rubbish in our school which gets blow into our
community and waterways. To help you room 8 has come up with ideas which will
feature in the news letter. If your child brings packaged food to school it would be
named and sent home at friday afternoon.

This policy would be starting at the beginning of term 3. If you have any questions
please contact the office.
