Cockle argument!

Today we conducted research
Linked with these regulations that MAF ( Ministry of Agriculture/ Fisheries) related to the number Shellfish That is by law allowed to be taken by each individual person who is involved in the process of digging fort that shellfish.

The law states that around Auckland and the Coromandel only 50 cockles can be taken by one digger each day. This regulations is important.

Christopher-  People from the other countries come to New Zealand and take a load amount of cockles but the law says that you have to take 50 cockles each day.

Marc- There may be a important purpose because the people might be hungry, if a country is running out of food then they’ll have no choice but to go to New Zealand. And also our country will be called a “Selfish country”.

Christopher- But If you take our cockles and seafood that means we won’t have any more food for the people who are allergic to meat.

Marc- We have lots of Cockles in New Zealand. We won't run out of cockles. And anyway we have a lot of  meat.
