We are pilgrims!

L.I-  Recognise how the Church  as a Pilgrim People is journeying  to the fullness of God’s Kingdom.
What  is a pilgrim:  Pilgrims are people who go to a Holy place for religious reasons.
Pilgrim people go on a pilgrimage to places that are often linked to their faith beliefs.
This is a list of some places that they may go to:
  • The Jordan river when Jesus was baptised from John the baptist and was called the messiah .
  • Bethlehem when Jesus the son of God was born on a stable.
  • Jerusalem The place where Jesus was crowned  the king of kings.
  • St Peter's Where our Pope Francis lives.
  • Santiago de Compostela, Spain-  The place where James one of Jesus disciples believed to have died and buried .
