A dangerous disease has hit New Zealand cows and the disease is called Mycoplasma bovis it may cause udder infections, pneumonia and arthritis.

Farmers have discovered that mycoplasma bovis is infected and it first came to New Zealand.

This event took place in New Zealand dairy factory and it where there are lots of cows and they take their milk to the factory and puts it in a milk bottle.

This event happened in May 29 2018 - no one has found a cure for it.

A farmer found a sick cow and the vet came and tested it an it was contagious and other cows can get it.

- Mycoplasma bovis: Mycoplasma bovis is one of 126 species of genus Mycoplasma. It is the smallest living cell and anaerobic in nature.
- Slaughter:kill (animals) for food.
- Infection: The process of infecting or the state of being infected.
Summary: Mycoplasma bovis landed in the New Zealand's dairy industry and I think the cows ate the mycoplasma bovis and It died and there 11,000 cows that died.
