- To be safe on a bike you need to wear a helmet so it can protect your skull and your brain if you don’t have a helmet on you might have a fractured skull or brain damage which could be a life changing event.
- Being safe on your bike, you need to look left and right to see if there are any cars parked or driving so that you don’t get injured or hurt. Riding your bike on the road is not safe because there is lots of traffic. It is safer to use the bike lane.
- If there's people crossing the road you need to stop the brakes and wait until they cross the road because if you go fast and you can’t stop the bike in time you may cause serious injuries.
- If your riding a bike you also need clothes for safety like long pants, a t-shirt , sport shoes and a jacket if you don’t have the right safety clothes you might get a knee injury or a broken leg and twisted arm.
