My presentation about Tonga!

Technicraft!

Technicraft

• Gauze mat
• Meth burner
• Sawdust
• Beaker
• Matches
• Saucer- [a type of plate]

Today we had a experiment using sawdust, first we place the tripod in the middle in of the table. Then we place the gauze mat on top of the tripod. Then we take the beaker full of water and sawdust and place it on the gauze mat. Now we lit the meth burner and we put it under the tripod and then we observe.

later we saw the one of the sawdust rose up all the way to the water surface and when it was on the surface it sunk backed down. Then we had gently use a wet cloth  to place the beaker full of water and sawdust at the table.

Later we packed up and helped Miss Garwith with her science materials and place the chairs on top of the other chairs.

Then took our bags to the bus and went back to school before it was lunch time.

Conclusion: My favourite part of the experiment was when we and my science buddy saw one of the sawdust rise up into the water surface.
